THE GREAT OUTDOORS
- A seven minute walk south of Moore House is Battersea Park, a 200-acre space on the south bank of the River Thames opposite Chelsea, which opened in 1858. Home to an exciting children’s zoo, gorgeous boating lake, bandstand, and all-weather, outdoor sporting facilities, including tennis courts, a running track and football pitches.
The famous King’s Road Cricket & Social Club is located just moments from here on Searles Close, where there are two cricket pitches. The club, whose members wear distinctive orange caps, can be seen playing on Saturdays and Sundays.
The luscious Green Park and St James’s Park, with Buckingham Palace sandwiched between, are just 11 minutes drive from Moore House.
